Default window scratch removal??? someone scratched while trying to break in my Z

Ok I parked my car at my girl's house last night at 12p.m. I wake up and go out to my car and My driver's side glass is all scratched and scarred up, and the door window molding is all bent out of shape... looks like someone forced something down my door and while doing so they were scraping the object against my glass... scratching/ scarring it... And I know this just happened last night cause I had just cleaned all my windows at like 10 that night... So my question is does anyone know if the scratches could be removed without replacing the glass?... The scratches range in depths but there all about as deep as the thickness of a finger nail...

A friend of mine worked at an aircraft repair facility, he would talk about wetsandiing and buffing out some deep scratches on the Air Force jets. Of course those windows are thick, you might want to try a light wetsanding with some 1500-2000 grit, the key is, if its a huge scratch, you need to make whole bunch of small scratches and to get rid of those you need to make them even smaller, till is almost invisable

i am not a expert and not responsible if you screwed up your car,

It doesn't bother me enough to pay a 500 deductible... I was just looking for the quick repair, and trying not to buy a new window out of the deal....

your windows arent that thick and having experience before it can warp the visibility of the window if it isnt done right. you can get a new one installed for like 250 from safelite autoglass. get a quote it might not be that much

nah I've been quoted for a passenger side window that got all scratched up when i was removing the tint, it's like $4-500 per window.. which is like retarded to me.
