Says who? Removing that "reflex reflector" means that when the car is off, it will not reflect ANY light back at other drivers. This function is required by law.

Besides, the front side-markers on the Z do NOT HAVE BULBS, the DO NOT ILLUMINATE.

I thought they light up.......I should pay more attention to my Z. I will probably keep the amber till I get my rims on. Then I will put on smoked. Only problem is since they are OE in Japan they don't come with instalation instructions.

Do a search on this forum... I know of two threads that have been posted describing in detail (including what tools you will need) about how to change the reflectors on this forum. There may be even more threads, but I remember two of them. I printed the instructions awhile ago for myself.

Well then...

I am going to go smoked reflectors w/ amber LED's. Thanks for the links yobri. It helped. I will probably just take off the bumper. It seems easier. Where can I get a good price on Smoked reflectors with amber LED's in them?

According to his list it is about $26 for the reflector and $21 for the amber/ orange bulbs. That brings the price to $47 + shipping.

that is correct. and I can do that, but I have been postponing orders, a new "type" of reflector is under development. should be ready soon(or it might prove impossible).

till I figure that out, I just reccomend waiting... I dont want to turn people away, if you want whats there, Ill do it, just want to inform people. the new setup is planned for a big release next week, lots will be coming from me.

the 3 dot setup will not be changing tho. this will always be done as it is, the new setup is for even light output, not points.

hope that helps.
