Default Question About Taillights

I have this question about the 350z taillights i searched as much as i could on the search area but i couldnt find anything about it.

But i would like to know if the 03-05 taillights are able to fit an 06 model 350z perfectly??

might be a noobish question but im not sure.

Since '06 tails (with LED's) fit perfectly in '03-'05's (seen several threads on this) makes sense viceversa.

except the 03-05 lights use two power cables and the 06 use one, so all the lights may not work

fit, but not necessarily function

The 03-05 taillights require an extra light clip for the "parking light", which is a 168 bulb that comes on with the normal lights.

The 06+ taillights only have one clip.

To use 03-05 taillights on an 06+ Z, you'll have to splice in the additional clip into the existing power wires.

Of course, these small 168 bulbs are not necessary, so you can run them with an open spot if you really want to. I'd just tape it off or something to prevent water/moisture/debris from getting inside.

I have to ask, why would anyone want to replace their LED tails with halogens?
