Do you mean this?

I can get for you in the UK but the fittings may be a little differnet... Would happily swap mine as I wat a more even look at the back as there is only a fog on one side..

It's the fog by the signal light, driver's side

I'll be more than happy to get you one from here, but does your Z comes equipped with the switch for it (it's integrated with the turning signal's column)

Well, he can always keep a separate switch to operate the light and make it functional

The standard is for it to be on the driver's side.

"Most jurisdictions permit rear fog lamps to be installed either singly or in pairs. If a single rear fog is fitted, most jurisdictions require it to be located at or to the driver's side of the vehicle's centerline — whichever side is the prevailing driver's side in the country in which the vehicle is registered. This is to maximize the sight line of following drivers to the rear fog lamp. If two rear fog lamps are fitted, they must be symmetrical with respect to the vehicle's centerline."

It is both "EDM" and "JDM" so to speak. Any country adhering to ECE Regulation 48 must be equipped with a rear fog light.
