I bought replica nismo v2 replica spoiler and installed. I guess i get what i paid for...

However, when I open the hatch w/ remote, it opens only half way and still locked. So whenever, i open the door, I need to push upward and open the hatch... Also, the hatch does not stays in the middle way, otherwise, it will be shutting down itself. (I have to open full)

Basically, I think I need stronger shock, or is there shock adjustability on stock ones?

i am pretty sure nissan makes stronger hatch hydraulics for the nismo's and possibly for the z's that came equipped with a spoiler.

 

Hey Peter - yep absolutely would work

 

correct the NISMO versions come with stronger hatch struts - they go for around $300 for the pair though with the mounting hardware.
