Not to be an ***, but your paint job is terrible. I can tell even in the photos that the color is not matched correctly. Ask for a refund.

I would say to post some images of your car illustrating the plethora of modifications it has done to it, but I am completely uninterested in even trying to judge your car, let alone compare it against other Z's.
From an enthusiast standpoint (not a business owner), Sanderman's Z has to be one of the cleanest Z's I have ever seen. In my opinion, it's quite impressive to see all those performance modifications on such a new car, and at the same time.. some [b]tasteful body[b] modifications.
ps: Since you are such a stickler about matching paint, why not tell every Corvette owner to "get a refund" since their bumpers never match -- and thats FACTORY paint.

The colors are acually substantially closer than the factory original plastic parts were. Have you seen how light the blue plastic nose and rear are on the early Daytona Blues? It took over 15 color test shots to get this close. As a 3 layer paint (base, tint, clear) it is almost impossible to get a panel to panel match without blending the whole car ($5k+). And even when you get close the paint "flops" from violet to blue differently simply because it is not painted the same time as the body of the car with the exact same paint. One of the joys of Daytona blue. Even Skidazzle's Nismo kit is darker than the metal body and he went through a similar mixing ordeal...
So next time get a clue before acting like an insulting imbecile
You might want to take a look at a few of the DBs in the DB gallery thred - like the few below - and look at their color matches plastic to body......

I guess you guys think I'm coming off too harshly. It's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but I havenever seen a DB car in person (with factory bumper panels, mind you) that was mismatched. Yours just seem so much darked under regular light. Maybe it is because I am an art student and work with small differences in color a lot. I don't know. It just struck me as a bold error on an otherwise cleanly style car.
As for Corvette owners, one of my best friends drives a Z06 that i see every day. There has never been a color difference.
Again, I apologize for coming off so harsh. I reread my post and I was a bit of an *** -- I could have at least put it to you more politely. I guess it was the wording of the thing, because I definitely don't feel that strongly about it. As we are not allowed to edit posts on these boards, I can't correct my error.

Yeah...and theres a spot on one of your wheels that you didn't clean...so there!
Sorry Sanderman, but with that beautiful work of art of yours, us jelous bunch probably sound like Michelangelo's assistants telling him "you missed a spot" on the Sistine chapel.

I have a DB factory paint and I've seen numerous other DB's and that paint is no different then the stock mismatch. I love the body kit, but do you think the clear corners headlight was worth the expense? Did you get enough 'bang' for your buck?

hey man! we're you by the nashua/ pheasant lane mall area saturday afternoon? i passed your car (well, i think it was your car)...i honked and tried to get your attention....(this is saying it was you)...but, i was in a 4runner...not the z.
if that was you....the paint is much closer than it looks in these pics...overall....the car is flawless! so...people who think it looks off....a camera will pick up the shine on plastic and metal MUCH different...no matter how close the paint is.

Sanderman...
To be honest, my eyes were drawn more to your awesome new lights than the color mismatch, which is barely noticeable in your current pics.
However, if the mismatch is noticeable to you and you had the work done a reputable paint shop, I'd take it back and ask them to correct.
The exact same thing is going on with my Nismo kit on my BY right now. Even though they used the factory-coded PPG paint mix, it is noticeably different from the factory paint (color is correct, but metal flake content is not).
To correct it, they are taking my car for a week (the paint shop) and, with the PPG regional rep onsite, will be reformulating PPG's paint mix to accurately match the BY factory paint.
What am I out? Driving my car for a week.
What do I gain? Hopefully, a near flawlessly matched body kit addition to my car. Also, anyone that comes after you will have the benefit of getting the right paint match the first time around. I'd check into it.
BTW, if I didn't mention it already, I love the lights... I just wish they were a little cheaper.
