I have a 2004.5 Touring 6spd. In the trunk right under the tray thingy where the car jack and lugnut wrench sit, there are some wires. There is a white female connector with nothing hooked to it. Its rectangular with silver pins on the inside. Anyone know what this goes to?

 

Did you buy it used... sounds like an after market cord. Possibly sound system or nitrous.

most cars, no matter how ridiculous it would be, come with a hookup for trailer wiring (brake lights, turn signals), but man id be surprised if there was one of those in a Z...

The previous owner had a flux capacitor installed.


It appears it was removed before you bought the car.

 

luckily, once the flux capacitor touches the harness, its effects are felt indefinatly. One of the many bullet points...

 

Yes, I purchased car used. I found out it was where previous owner had installed the "brain" of aftermarket alarm. He removed alarm and installed in his current car. He says he did not wish to install in obvious place (under dash). Thanks.

 

my 04.5 has same connector so it is not aftermarket, what it is for I do no know.
