Default Poly-Fiber Reinforced Plastic?

Is PFRP durable? Anyone with a bodykit made of this stuff out there? I was thinking about going with it for a replica front bumper.

that is just a fancy name for fiberglass.. if it were a respectable manufacturer, I would say go for it (Wald, strosek, amuse for example) being it is a replica, keep looking

lol +1, it is incredible all the names that manufacturers can dream up to call fiberglass.

The only company I trust that claims a variant of FRP is Shine, with their hybrid FRP, because I have first hand experience with it. That stuff is pretty impressive.

get the real deal and do it right the first time or get a replica from Shine...IMO i would rather have a replica Shine piece then some of the real pieces.

I am confused about this now...

FRP - is just a "fancy" name for fiber glass? I bought a FRP greddy lip for another car once and it was very flexible and strong. No where near as flimsy as other fiberglass kits i've seen. The FRP was more like ABS plastic...

FRP is used too loosely. It really depends on the manufacturer, in terms of what type of 'quality' and/or flexibility the product will have.
