Thinking about bodykit on my PPW 04 Roadster. Scared of matching the paint???
Thinking about putting the Nismo V2 front and sides on my 350zr, but I am scared to commit since it is an 2004 and its PPW. I will not be happy if the pant does not match. What do you guys think??????

It's hit and miss when it comes to matching PPW. Definitely one of the hardest colors to match. My suggestion is find a reputable shop who can show you examples of their work. Also, don't pay them until YOU are fully happy with the outcome. When it comes to PPW I'd reccomend blending into the factory paint. I've seen some pretty ugly and some pretty clean PPW paint jobs. G/L
I'm in the same boat man. I want to get the Nismo V2 with canards but I'm frightened to get my PPW painted in my area. There is one shop that was recommended to me with my old white car (though just a base coat/clear coat white not tri-coat PPW) and he did a great job. Though after a year the front bumper was chipping something terrible. I'm pretty confident he would do a good job but I was sort of disgusted by his work in the long run.
I dunno what to do... now winter is coming up so I'm thinking about waiting since it's my DD.
On another note... anyone from the Philly area ever have a PPW painted?!

I have a 05 PPW that I am adding a v3 bumper this weekend, I was worried to so I took of the gass cap door for a paint sample for them to match up. I will update with pics this weekend to here https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-in...mper-05-a.html

yea i am getting my v2 painted on the ppw too..the body shop told me it will probably be a 90%%...that is pretty decent considering the pearl white is hard to match...took off my gas lid as well to give to them...
you can even tell the stock bumpers with the the stock body isnt match either..i was looking and the bumper seems a little darker then the body if parked in the shade cause of the material as well..that goes into consideration..the kit is fiberglass/urthane and the body is metal..so that will cause the paint to be a little different..
thats what i was told from the body shop!
