Default Airbag switch? Need a quick answer.

I know, I know, search etc.

Anyways, I'm in a hurry and am picking up my 4 year old little bro from the sitter tonight in my Z, and I don't have any other car than the Z. I was wondering how I turn off the passenger seat airbag if it's manually done. If it's all handled by sensor then never mind! Thanks for the help.

It's all by sensor. You cannot turn off the airbag "manually".

Yeah, big age gap. 26, 22, and 4. To xtremefairladyz: IF my lil bro was sitting on a car seat in the front seat of the Z, would the airbag sensor deactivate the airbag?

Ty in advance.

With an '07 Z yes... the airbag should be de-activated. '03 Z's don't have the sensor and require approval from the Fed's to get a dealer to install a manual cutoff switch.

The seat sensors are set to ~80lbs. Unless your brother is abnormally large for a 4 year old and his seat is made of lead you should be OK.
