Default Hood latch adjustment for carbon fiber hood.

Looking for some advice on adjusting my hood latch bc the fitment is extremely tight and the hood is starting to crack. I have some hood pins but I havent decided if I want to drill the hood. Does anyone know how I can adjust the hoodlatch?

Thanks, Taylor
