Just want to get some idea of what color LED do you guys prefer on Evo-R's Z-Concept front LED markers (reflectors)! Thanks for voting

PS. The LED front marker in the picture is ONLY a prototype, the finished product will have a nice brush aluminum look (to match the door handle)!

 

someone told me that it was real metal on yours, is that true?

 

I like amber and white, but are white side marker illegal in CA?

 

I believe he's reffering to the LED color. tho still yes anything but amber is illegal I believe, if it reflects or lights up the light its giving off or reflecting must be amber.

white/silver housing is ok, but only if it lights up amber and doesnt reflect clear.

 

I like the amber ones. I've been contemplating on if i should paint mine black

 

These front reflector LED set will be made in the same type of plastic (very high quality) as your OEM front reflector set (the back side of the OEM ones), the plastic surface (very fine matted finish) will be scratch resistant and painted to the same silver color as the door handle, or you can repaint it to whatever color you prefer!

 

aight, yeah personally Id rather plastic than metal in this case, plastic is much more forgiving to rocks and what not, and as you said can be abrasion resistant. metal will dent, and turn colors if not cared for. also found it hard to believe youd have that pressed :P, not worth it.

it says that sidemarkers can only be yellow to the front and red to the back. .

 

I have clear front, side, and back on my M3. I left the amber bulbs in. Looks good and keeps the car llegal. I want the same set up on my Z

 

if they reflect then color of bulbs dont matter. in this case they would not reflect so if they lit up amber youd be ok, but if you had clear sidemarkers as many do, doesnt matter what color they light up, they will reflect white which is not allowed.

 

They will not reflect, so it is legal. The square dots are not reflectors.

I personally like the white color. I can't see too many cops in my area being THAT **** about it being white. I just don't like orange lighting.

 

White all the way. What's the point of upgrading to the same color as the stock. White makes the front cleaner.
