I was aso thinking of doing a satin black paint scheme on my Z. I can't wait to see your finished Z. Those blacked out 06+ headlights, some tint, and painted rims will make it look better for sure.

Looks good... Not a big fan of flat black on Z, but whatever floats your boat.. I once thought about painting my Z flat black, but after looking at numerous flat black cars I came to a realization that flat black only looks good on cars with lots of details such as creases, vents, over fenders and big wings. Without any color, people are instantly drawn to these little details and accents.. Unfortunately, Z is just too slick hence no focal points... no accents... Veilside V3 overfender kit or something similar looking bodykit would have been a better choice. Just my .02

Here are examples of what I'm talking about.

Yeah I used to think that too until I saw mine in person. I still think it's cutting it close though. I think lambos look best in flat, hands down, due to the angles and lines.

I would have gotten the wiper, windshield washer nozzle and antenna shaved while they were doing all that work.

Sandy said Sharif had my car on the dyno today. I'll know more details tomorrow or friday. I'm really excited because he told modified mag about my car and they got really excited and might do a feature on it!

Damn I usually have the thought that the Z wouldn't look good in a satin/matte look much for the reason that I think exotic cars look a bit better with it. I thought the Z was too smooth to pull it off...but damn man, that looks really really nice.

The car looks fantastic! The shop seems to have done a great job!

But that is a REALLY weird way of mounting the canards on the V2. Did you ask the shop to do this? If so, why?

10s

don't tint the tails/windows, looks good without it keep it "fishbowled" see the exotics no tint. IMO if you tint it out it wouldn't look as good to me...just add the new headlights

yeah it is a strange way to mount them, isn't it?! the shop just did it like that and I was like um.... but then I decided it looks mean and aggressive and lets face it this car isn't built just for track time, so I'm fine with it.

yeah true, no tint on the exotics... i might keep it untinted. if I do tint i was gonna make it very subtle.... especailly the tails..

i can't wait to see with the new headlights though
