Nice work. I like the idea of using metal rather than fiberglass.

Fiberglass is just crappy.

hey guys been a while!! started working on the car fully now, i actually only have 10 days left to finish it now before the show.
there will be alot of all nighters coming up as you can imagine!

the front kit i found was just over 2 inches higher than the skirts so have started chopping that up and placing where it needs to be so i can glass it back together.

there is still alot of work to go as you can prob see!
well heres some pics

Y not just work something out and fly him 2 canada and get it done there? I'm sure you know someone that has a bodyshop that'll let you use it as long as you pay, makes it easier on both, that's if you want it that bad. That's what I would do if I were in your shoes........

haha na they plastic cap!
it has been trimmed up to where you can see it though and the panels are fully welded behind.
still works as factory, we were origionally using a harly filler cap (in a sparco style) but it worked with a reverse thread and i couldnt find any filler pipe to suit and couldnt find a tank in time to chop one off!
looks a little weird in the pic as its a diff colour its sorta a 3/4 moon shape now.

wow i would love to go overseas and do something in the states but got a baby on the way so would be pretty hard to convince the other half to let me haha

It's an INGS N-spec rear bumper, but it's been stretched out to match the widebody. If you dont have widebody, just buy the INGS.
I've been trying to get me one of those too, but not many people will ship a body panel to Greece

i think you two are a little muddled up
nismo pinoy is looking for a rear fender (guard)
xendric is talking about a rear bumper (back bumper/kit)

so the front was 55mm to high and didnt match the skirts and i had to chop the length of the kit so i could make it the right height
also i had to widen the sides to match to the guards.
looks like a mess at the mo but will post pics as i go over the next week and a half!

3rd pic is of the inside re glassed where i have set the bumper at!
4th pic a shot from the rear!

nice work man. I'd personally wouldn't do wide body out of fiberglass and think its pretty cool you use steel. And the JP type n front bumper is made uneven from the side skirts. Kind of bothered me at first too, but not enough to pay someone to chop it. looks like its gonna be sick when its done!
