Functional and removable wing
I am not saying a N/A Z cant hold triple digits on straight aways. At 70mph in a corner do you really need the little bit of downforce you're going to get? If you were cornering at 100mph I could see yes. But realistically this guy seems to think it will make a difference in DD. I guess that's where my "useless" point comes in.
The threshold for lateral G stability in a 350Z changes dramatically after 70mph, so yes, in a race track scenario it will make a difference I guess, but even then with a ~300hp N/A tune do you really want the extra drag?
Personally and LM Style GT wing belongs on a LM GT car in the performance scenario.
But, for aesthetics with the right wheel/tire combo, the right front and rear splitter and side lip setup. It looks freaking bada$$.
So I hope all the sarcasimites have been satisfied.

So what is an LM GT car? Do you know anything about racing other than what is on GT5 ? Go check out a NASA or SCCA event, ask questions , you may learn something.
Everyone in this thread has been asking about a wing for track use. Yes you want downforce, with my whole 260whp , the car runs between 2 and 3 seconds faster per lap.

In a fantasy land you might gain 3 seconds on a lap, with a wing on a 3300lb car that has 260hp.
What is GT5 Pro Driver Guy?
Troll.
Oh...I can remove my front air dam/splitter and the rear spoiler in about 3 minutes total....
It is WAY too draggy for track duty, but it creates a lot of dirty downforce at lower speeds than a big wing.

I second the APR stuff, I've never seen a well suspended and tired car go slower around a track with their aero wings and splitters.
Sceptics need to visit their website and read the downforce data they have collected. They might even learn something.
