Default Mastergrade TS CF rear diffuser+JIC Exhaust fitment

Hi. Yesterday i did order CF rear diffuser by Mastergrade. Than I started reading on this forum about exhaust fitment and that got me worried. I have JIC magic exhoust type-2 (dual) is almoust like stock, but middle mufler is little bit smaller on JIC. Now is the question - Will i be able to fit this diffuser w/o any modificatios or i will have to cut some parts??? If cutting is needed what is the best tool to do this kind of cuts on CF and will i need to put some kind of paint on cutted edges??? Is there anyone on this forum that installed this diffuser overe dual JIC EXHAUST. tHANX

Here's the dilema, your going to have a hard time with someone that has the same exhaust and that diffuser. It really depends on the size and angle of the exaust canisters. If you do have to trim, it's pretty simple. You just need a nice dremel and a steady hand. There are a few members on here who have had to cut theirs, so I'm sure their pictures will help you out.

Also, yes I'll e-mail you he invoice ;-)

Hey guy,

I have the AAM exhaust... so different than what you explained but... i had to cut mine. I used a dremel, cut it and cleaned the edge up w/ a knife...( the fibers will stick out ) and then put some enamal glue on it.... I think it was a 2 part epoxy and it sealed it well and have not had any cracks etc w/ it. and it'll be on for a year now in feb 09. here are some pics... I know they don't show where I cut but it still looks sic

The nite I put it on.. w/out the vortex generators on yet

And after its been on for awhile

and i'm a picture ***** so heres a full shot haha

What exhaust systems dont fit with this diffuser? If I were to order how would I know my exhaust will fit? Im planning on getting either a custom true dual, or the topspeed exhaust.
