just wondering, i'm interested in the cf roof overlay, but i wonder, since there will be somewhat a gap between the actual roof and this, what is the chance that this would help the roof to rust and rot? i'm sure rain or maybe being washed water could get trapped, or just moisture from humidity, etc. Has anyone who has one, ever take it off to see whats happening underneath??

Hmmmm well I know my body shop pop riveted and then molded mine into my roof. =X

Why not bondo it on? I mean it's under a seal and you can never see it. Bondo and sand till smooth.
