Default How do i setup the garage sensor on the mirror?

I just got my car couple days ago, I tried to setup the remote sensor for garage, I followed by the instruction, but it doesn't work still

This is what i did, i held both left, right one for 20 secs until it starts blinking, then i released both button, and clicked the one i wanna use for my home garage + my remote control, held for couple seconds, until the light start blinking repidly, then i released both, however, i just couldn't get it done.

Can anyone help me detailing the procedures to set it up?? Thanks a lot

what dave Z#3 said, you have a rolling door code, so theres a different procedure. I had to do that with mine. basically you have to press a button on the garage receiver then go press the buttons on the rear view mirror.

its in the manual

Yes - but I, like the OP, still cannot get it to work. Some garage door openers are 'too secure'. I have a Chamerlain Super Secure something-or-other. Cannot get it to work....so...I carry the opener

Hmmm...press the red button on the garage opener, press and hold your button in your car, do it in 10 seconds or less, your all set.

I can tell you - I've tried that several times - no luck.

I have a security gate at beginning of driveway - coded it for that gate. But garage - no luck.....doesn't work on any of the door openers..
