Default Seibon CF owner, please help....

I have an 06z with a GT hood. I was told I could shave the underbody of the hood in order to fit my strut bar. I called Seibon and they told me I could go to home depot and buy "spacers" (these are basically big washers).

Any one here has susscesfully cleared their CF hood from the strut bar?

I have attached pictures of the underside of the hood. The issue is where the vents are located ( I think ) Any useful input will be greatly appreciated.

my advice would be put some clay or putty under the hood and find out exactly where its hitting then decide for yourself if you want to cut the fiberglass under the hood.
or install hood spacers! up to you!

dude.. just put the spacers.. if you screw your hood up, that would be whack and a waste of money.
