Gauge cluster is out
OK so I have a passport 9500i hardwired into the wires for the rear view mirror. today I was driving nad noticed the radar wasn't on. I went to check the fuse as i was driving and fuse was fine, then I unplugged it , then plugged it back in while i was driving and the im sure i heard a zap or something and my Gauge cluster ( rpm, speedo, fuel, batt) all went out along with the 3 gauges on top of the center console...... car drives fine and turns on fine. I plugged the radar into the cig lighter and that works fine. my turn signal lights work and brights on the cluster light up, but no guages... I checked all the fuses in the driver kicker panel and the batt compartment all seemed to light up when i checked em i also pulled em all and re-installed em. What am I missing here? this is driving me nuts.....please help.

Hey, I had a cigarette lighter out on my '05 today and when I checked the fuse, it appeared to be good. I did not have a test light to test it. Finally, after checking everything else that I thought could be a problem, I swapped the "good" fuse for another and voila! Cig lighter came back to life!
Try swapping in a known good fuse from another location, just for ***** and giggles... may be nothing, but give it a try!
