I LOVE this new hood? Were you able to see the new '03-05 Asuka hood too? The guys at Asuka are great, this hood is awesome.

Vince, I was told they were just finishing yours up !

Jim
Hmm...., I spoke to Chuck on Friday that they received my hood late Thursday evening, and they were just inspecting the hood Friday to make sure there were no defects before the hood is being shipped out. Could you confirm this??

Yeah, but I didn't really like it. I think it doesn't live up to their current and older designs.

With this specific hood the vents are actually really small. The only thing you really have to worry about is a dirtier engine bay. I don't believe this hood comes with rain guards or mesh because the vents are so small.

Well the way the vents are cut it seems that water would only hit some plastic parts in my engine bay. On the passenger side the water just falls straight down to the floor, and on the driver side the water just drops onto the intake tube. So I'm not worried about hydrolock, but just to be on the safe side I may just take the hood off during the winter and put it back on during the spring.

HOLY **** I JUST FOUND THE HOOD OF MY DREAMS.

From 03-08 there were no hoods I "truly" liked more than my OEM design. Until now.
