it seems as if water makes it way in between the window and the sill. ive never taken apart the door panels. just wanted to know if there was another option.

and to those that cannot offer any decent advice and are just looking to boost your post count, get outta here and go play in the streets

um its not actually a problem but every car should have this.. its part of the door sill/trim, cloth like material its made of that the window rubs against when moving up and down that prevents the window from scratching. use a air gun or something to wipe dry or wait till its dry before rolling windows down.. other then that.. you cant do anything about it

duct tape the rubber sill to the window before you wash the car. Dry the car then remove the tape.

Just being helpful.

You gotta enter the wash with windows down and leave them down the whole time from start to finish.. thats why they are getting wet!

just make sure u put a towel on ur lap, you'll be straight

watch where you spray water, dont spray on the windows,to hose off the roof, i either spray from the front or back, never side bcuz thats when the water runs into the window seal and i clean the windows last, and i always face the driver side toward the sun bcuz it will dry faster, i just dont roll down the passenger side

That's my solution as well. Basically, avoid the problem.
