Default Difference between Rear bumpers

Looking at body kits, why can you get a full rear bumper replacement for a convertible and only a cover for the coupes. What is the difference? Could someone put a convertible rear bumper onto a coupe and what would it take to do it?

thats what you would think just by looking at the outside, but i was looking at the GT-R aero R body kit and they offered a full rear bumper for convertibles but for coupes it was just a half-cover. And i really dont like the whole half bumper look, it doesnt seem to be as clean and a full replacement, you know what i mean? But, i wonder if it has something to do with the rear bumper sub frame/mounts that make the coupe and convertible rear bumpers different, not the looks. But i guess i could always just call the company to find out.

The subframe and subframe mounting points are the same on a coupe and convertible.
