Default strut bar with cf hood

Ok so im posting this for my cousin who has an 05 black 350z. He recently go into an accident and the car has been in the shop for a little while now. So like I always say dont just fix, upgrade. So he ordered a cf hood for it and from what the guy said the is fixing it is that the stock strut bar will not fit with the cf hood. Just wanted to know if this is a problem with all cf hoods and if anyone else has had this problem and what strut bar he can buy that will work with it??? Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem, I have a carbon fiber hood and motordyne 5/16" spacer. There are 3 bolts where the hood latch is at the front of the car, you can adjust those to make the latch higher. Or you can place washers on the hood hinges to make it sit a little higher. Or you can remove the damn strut bar, I will probably be doing that soon. Or as everyone else said you can cut the underside of the hood.
