Chrome Grill Advice
the black plastic grill is startin to agitate me. i've browsed ebay's grills; what would u guys recommend? i heard the high end one replaces the grill, which u need to cut out? the mid-level is a strap on, but it looks like it cuts back on air flow to the radiator. then u got strips. i'm just curious what u guys have gone with and what would your review of the product b; thanks.

I have a billet grill myself and it looks sweet imo.. Easy to install too just has some pieces that lock on over the existing grill.
It rained the other day so its not quite as shiny as it should be and u can see water/dirt run.

I actually wanted to change mine too, but I saw a picture of the door edge guard on black, and it didn't look good to me at all. I think it looks nice on all other colors, but on black, it looks weird.
I would be interested in the billet grill, but I am concerned with air flow also. One that replaces the stock one would be better in my mind.

I just installed the stainless grill from courtesy Nissan on my Super Black. I'll be the first to say that yes, it APPEARS to block some airflow... HOWEVER, It also adds a little piece of mind to me since I have the INJEN CAI and I think (at least in my head) it'll protect the CAI from some of the heavy downpours we get on my commute to NJ.
After driving with it installed, I have not seem the temp increase at all, and I see no decrease in MPG and can feel no difference in performance.
Heck at 80 - 85MPH on the highway, the air is going to flow right through the slits in that grill...

I got my billet grill from the dealership I bought my car at... I dont know what I did with the box, but I can always call my dealership and asked where they got it from if anyone wants? I personally dont see any loss of air flow really, it doesnt cover up much and there is still alot of flow. Air isnt a solid... and those slits arnt like 1mm apart.

Is it me or can you not see any grille in those pictures?? Looks like a black hole from the picture.
As for flow, well, air isn't a solid, but it can be restricted just like anything else. Sure, it will have a better time getting through at interstate speeds, but stop and go traffic is a different thing. I like the added protection, but not at the cost of airflow.
