Hi everyone. Is the trip timer suppose to reset after a certain amount of time the car is off? I ask because everytime i start her up, there is always time on there already and keeps on counting. I reset it sometimes and it just starts counting right away. Is there no way of stopping it?

I already tried searching and cannot find anything.
If it helps: 2008 350z Touring.

yeah once you hit reset, it just starts over. i believe this is the same for most cars.
