Default How to level the headlights on a 2006

My left headlight is lower than my right one. How do i go about leveling them? or do I need to take it to the dealership (which is what it says on the owner's manual)?

If this has already been asked, sorry I couldnt find it.

The left side can never be really even with the right. If you try to raise too much, the left side will point up in the trees and still won't be even. They say this was done as too not blind oncoming traffic.

hmm yess i can definitely see what you mean. the center of the light beam for both lights is centered and leveled too. so i guess i'll leave it like that. they just look weird though, i'll get used to it though, i've only had it for 3 days.

Just let 5lbs of air pressure out of your right side tires.

If you adjusted it to where your left beam is evened with your right beam you probably want to fix it back, unless you want to blind oncoming traffic all the time.

Actually, at least with the left side, it's kinda diagonal. Even if you raised the low part of the left to try to match the high part of the right, the hot-spot of the left beam will be pointing about 20 degrees to the right so the oncoming traffic still isn't hit. It'll just look like you're raccoon hunting. And, you wouldn't have any excuses why you didn't see the posted speed limit.
