Should i do it??
i wanna get a do luck replica and one of our sponsors, 350zstyle is selling them in frp. Is frp reliable? do the majority of you guys who get aftermarket bumpers get them in frp? i heard urethane is hard to come by on aftermarket kits, so frp is probably the only way to go, dont u think? here is the link:https://my350z.com/forum/vendor-grou...plica-kit.html
Urethane is a bit more uncommon and more expensive. It is however less brittle so it really depends on the sort of roads you're driving on, and how low you are. If you think you're going to be running the risk of shattering your sideskirts or front lip everywhere, then urethane might be a better choice. I believe Shine produces replica kits in a hybrid material that is somewhat flexible however it isn't urethane, but seems to be fairly cheap.
Edit* Also though I would mention that apparently (according to a body shop from which I got a quote), urethane takes an extra step to prep for paint work and is thus a bit more costly to have done. I'm not sure if this is entirely true, but thought I would mention it nonetheless.
