I have a small compartment right near the hazzard light toggle, the clip inside on the left is broken, making the compartment loose.

I made a plasic piece and super-glued it in there, the original clip I tried to glue a few times but it eventually fell into the abyss inside my center console never to be seen again

Anyways, this seems like a very poorly designed compartment, I am assuming these break all the time because you have a spring loaded door fighting against a little clip, overtime the spring will win and the clip will lose.

So my question, if the superglue does not hold on my custom made clip, what other alternatives do I have with this space? Is there a common fix for the broken clip?

I searched and found nothing, hard to believe I'm the only one...

Oh geez.... time flies, 10 years went by so fast, I meant to write "04"!

I think my latest superglue might hold, of course I need to be carful with it when I open it...
