ive been thinking about some foglights......ive seen these really narrow ones at autozone, was thinking how that might look mounted in between the slats of the front grill.

Default Driving lights

I was thinking the same thing, or maybe driving lights.

I don't have my Z yet. Is there a good "natural" place to stash a couple of bright lights without cutting the front facia much?

I would love to add some lights, but only if they can be sort of tucked in and subtle.

Well maybe a set of 6 Hellas across the top of the windshield! <kidding>

Nice! They look almost like FANGS in the grill.

Did you have to trim the horizontal grill pieces to make clearance?

I had to cut 2 of the grill lines ( i was hoping it would only be one) the lights were about 1/2 too tall to fit while only cutting one grill line.
if you have a sound system it's a pain in the butt to run the remote wire for the lights in the cabin. I'm using 4 gauge power wire for the sound system.and it was a pain in the A$$ to run the wire throught the firewall. PIAA comes with a "quick disconnect" along the power wire. which has to go through the fire wall if it doesn't you wont be able to reach your "on off" switch.
I'll post close up pics tomorrow.

if you look inside your engine bay where the injen intake goes there is an aluminum bumper. I drilled two holds on the bottom of it to mount the lights.

my lights are flush with the rest of the grill lines. the bumper is thick enough that you can have the lights be behind the grill lines so you dont have to cut them. However if they are of high wattage they can get hot and melt the plastic.

Default sweeeet

Those are super-sweet. Mounted to the bumper they should be good and stable to. (I always hate cheap light mounts where the lights bounce when the car shakes). Good job.

What brand/model lights are theses? Or.... what size are they HxWxD ? I really like the look and they are definetely the RIGHT size for that spot.

Thanks for the close up pics!

They are PIAA 1100X I dont know the exact dimentions but you can go to PIAAs website to find out. I believe they have it advertised as the worlds smallest driving light they also make the fog ligh (same size just different beam pattern). PIAA has them in clear and amber
