I agree, The yellow doesnt look that good to me. If it was mine i would paint the housing flat black. that would look much better in my opinion.

yeah i dont think its terrible man, but i do think the yellow looks kinda out of place on black like the others said. Its mostly personal though bro you may hate my wheels or something but i may love them. Sucks about the cop though i hear ya id be pissed too just because of all the ricer idiots around here with their pink and green headlights lol.

I like the yellow overlays especially on black! I think it is just cause I am a sucker for GT cars and they make them use different color overlays to make it clear what class they are racing in at night, and therefore it has grown on me.

Going for the GT Car look is the only way I could understand the yellow tints. Just reminds me of old Acura Legends that had yellow high beams for some reason. Seems a little outdated. Love the rest of your car, wish I could have gotten my hands on a black HR, but I love my redline. Sucks that the cop got you though.

Lol he got off with a warning, that's about as good an outcome as you could have hoped for when getting pulled over.

Oh and +1 on your car looking better without it. It just looks out of place unless you had more yellow accents on the car and it flowed with the overall look.

if you want the yellow output grab some 3000k bulbs. I have 3000k on my cbr (croch rocket) and i do most of my riding at night, can't see sh*t but everybody knows that i'm there. haven't got pulled over yet because of them, going on 4 years now. but for the film, I agree it doesn't go well with the z.

Thanks guys for the opinions. I dont know, I guess its just me with the yellow tinted headlights. Im trying to figure out if I can still have yellow bulbs and have it on when I want. High beams? Parking light? Well since I took the yellow off I decided to make my own custom eyelids from some vinyl I bought.
