Yea the crawford goes in front of the plenum and sits lower than the stock.

If the sale falls through your more than welcome to try it out.

what year car is it? If it's an 03-06, the Cusco has the lowest mounting profile of any of them. If it's an 07 +, you're on your own as there are no aftermarket units offered that I'm aware of

Cusco goes over the plenum and is not the shortest, only the strut bars that go in front of the plenum are truly the shortest with the most clearance.

I'm familiar with all the braces

Even the ones that face forward don't necessarily offer more clearance to aftermarket hoods either, really depends on which one (since the hood slops forward pretty sharply right at the point that those braces mount, and the skeleton of the Seibon hood is more intrusive than OEM). I know from personal experience that the Cusco one clears the Seibon OEM and the Seibon TS one due to its thin, flat design

I sold Cannysage my Asuka Type 1 Hood. I believe he had the crawford strut or something similiar. It would not clear the hood so we had to remove it and he ended up getting the cusco.

No sorry I don't, they are not in stock at all in the US at this time, so I have no way to measure one

+1 On the Cusco. It BARELY clears the plenum...by like mm's.

I actually picked the Cusco in anticipation of my Seibon hood.

Do you have a plenum spacer and did you use spacers to clear the plenum?
Thanks

Yes, 5/16, and yes, you HAVE to use spacers for the strut bar.
