I found the diy tutorial on removing the front bumper, so I have a good idea of what I will need to do. I want to take my headlights out to send to CinCity.
I'm just wondering.....my car is currently in storage and there isn't alot of free space to work. Will I need to have the car jacked up or anything to remove the bumper? Also....once it is removed how hard is it to get the headlights out? I'm not exactly a mechanic....so I want to make sure I know what I'm getting into before I start. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanx.

 

Last time I removed my front bumper I didn't have jack up the car at all, after you remove the bumper the headlights are quite easy to remove, I think it they have like 3 bolts holding them, don't remember.
It's not really hard at all, there are a lot of screws on the bottom side of the bumper.

 

there 4 bolts that hold each headlight, one on top, one on the side that connects to the front fender and two bolts underneith the headlight, the hardest part of getting the headlight out it unpluging the wire harness because of the angle. I have taken my front bumper off/ my headlight out many times, if you read the diy then it is pretty straight forward

 

i read the DIY as well, seems pretty clear cut and straight forward. then again, if you really read the DIY you would have found that you do not need to take the entire bumper off to do this.
