Default Interior arm rest door handle damage

The black interior door handle on the arm rest (06 350Z) is scratched to the point where the black material (whatever it is) has come off. Must be my ring that is doing the damage.

Does anyone else have this issue? How can I fix this? Thank you.

I had the same problem on my 06.. I took it to my nissan dealership, and was told to talk to the warranty claimer there. She took couple pics of it and sent it to corporate. They replaced it under warranty after that.

Do you guys keep a few tigers in your cars while its parked?

I havent noticed any problems in mine like that (06 also). Although I have been extra careful since I saw someone have this problem earlier.

I guess I will have to go and just see if my dealership will do it or not. Mine is from my watch.

Is your car under bumper to bumper warranty?

I tried to argue that my door handle was part of the powertrain and it didn't work.
