Default OEM Nismo 350Z steering wheel (I *did* search, promise!)

Can't seem to find a solid answer to this one, but has anyone checked into or actually swapped out their stock steering wheel for the one that comes on the 07/08 Nismo 350Z? Wondering if there are any vendors out there that offer deals on the trick OEM parts. I was gonna add the steering wheel controls to my Base model steering wheel, but figured if I had to pull the steering wheel off to hook that up anyway, maybe I'd check into making that my first "round of mods"

I'll start emailing some of the sponsored vendors here and see what they say. I can't believe I'm the first person to be interested in this part.

Its not surprising considering the fact that the only difference between the NISMO Z's steering wheel and a Non-NISMO Z's steering wheel is a red stitch, it really makes no sense (in my opinion of course) to spend several hundreds of dollars on purchasing a NISMO Z's steering wheel just for that.

I haven't looked up the cost of a NISMO Z's steering wheel but these are what the Non-NISMO steering wheels go for at the dealer...

It also has the perforated leather inlays (in the side sections) where as my Base model wheel just has the regular leather on the sides. Could you look up the list price? I bet if one on the online vendors could get a better price they would sell a few of them. A regular steering wheel in practically new condition (mine) could probably be sold for a couple hundred bucks after the fact as well.

Like I said earlier your best bet is to contact your local dealership or perhaps one of the dealerships that have a parts departments who are vendors on this forum (Performance Nissan or West Covina) in order to get the best price on that steering wheel.
