Default the lenses of 03-05 will work on the 07 headlight??

hi guy I got a 07 Z and my passenger side headlight lens is broke, and I'm thinking to buy a 05 headlight to just replace the lens.

Please give me your opinion guys

I don't think it will work. The lens for the '07 is quite a bit larger than the '05 headlight. Here is a pic of a 2003 headlight that is the same as an '05.

Are you talking about the outside lens? I think they should fit. I don't see why not when you can put 07 headlights on 03-05 model vehicles.

the 03-05 lights are different in all ways to the 06+ lights. you either change the whole thing or not at all.

I see, did not know they were different. I figured it would be just one oval generic shape lens since they both fit on either year vehicles. Good to know though.

then you done something no one else has done then. would still be cheaper to just buy a proper light than run the risk of cracking both lenses open and possibly screwing both lights up in the process.

well people open there lights all the time to paint them so there should be no problem with taking the lens off without cracking it....and its way cheaper
