Default Z badge on back

just wondering if anybody has done this

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=41960

i dont mean the spoiler, but having just that Z badge. i think it looks a LOT cleaner then the Nissan badge and the 350z symbol.

anyway, i was just hoping maybe someone can tell me how i go about doing that. like where to get that Z symbol and how to stick it on and take off the old nissan badge and 350z. any help is appreciated!

thanks!

It says later in the post that the "Z" came from the door sills. It's also the same as on the rear swaybar.

I think he cut it out. Looks good. My problem is when I'm waxing my cotton towels get snagged on the "Z" portion of the "350 Z" emblem. Probably would have the same problem with this. I think I'm going to remove it and then replace the rear "Nissan" emblem with the ones that courtesy parts has.

If you read through the whole post he says exactly how he pop the plastic rivets out and cleans and attaches it to the car. You might be skipping over a section.

Vicarious,

i think the sills you are talking about are the optional aluminum sills. the standard ones are all black except for the silver z.

personally, i like the standard ones because it blends in better with the black interior and also, the z pops out a lot more.

I agree, my Aluminum ones started to come unglued so when I went to the dealer I asked them to replace them witht he standard ones, much better. When I preordered the car I thought the "Aluminum" plates were going to be all aluminum not a plate glued on.

As for the rear Z I prefer this look
