Default DIY How do I open the door sails?

I have seen a nice walkthrough for opening the door panels. However, I had a shop exchange speakers on my last Z and they cracked the left door sail when they exchanged the tweeter. Is ther a trick to opening this small compartment?

-Thanks

Normally you use one of those tools that look similar to a paint can opener but it is a point on the end. Not sure of the name.

Pretty sure you have to take off the door panels and then the sails will come out no problem.

Exactly - when you remove the panel, the sails fall right out. I don't see how you could remove them without breaking them if you didn't take the door panel off

I've got the panel off, but the sail seems to be bolted into place.

Its not bolted, iirc you have to pull out from the bottom and slide it down and away from the door. There should be 2 peg type things on the back that pop in and out, and I'm 90% sure that's all that holds it in other than the molding on the top.

There should not be any resistance when removing the sail. It almost sounds like the shop may have used some kind of adhesive or bolted it in to hide a screwup they made during installation.
