I'm not a fan of foglights, but you did a really good job mounting them.

Looks OEM.

I have always been a fan of fog lights. Bummer neither of my cars have them now. I always thought the Z should have came with them, but there is just no place I see them looking right w/o a completely redesigned front bumper.

That being said, your work looks great and top of the line, not just mounted behind the bumber somewhere like some people have done. Looks really good, BUT it somehow looks out of place all at the same time.

Props, great work eventhough it's something I would't do.

Thanks for the constructive comments.

I have never had a car that didn't have fog lights from my first car, a GTA
to my recent daily driver, an Acura TL, all have had fog lights. One of the
best thrilling cars I have owned, a 1993 300ZX TT had them yet my 2005
does not---very disappointing.

I explored many options, spent hours taking the bumper cover off, measuring tolerances and trying different things in Corel all in an effort to avoid an
obvious after-market look. So far, while the majority either do not like
the location, the lights or the idea of fogs on the Z, none have said it
looked after-market. This I take as good.

Once again---thank you to those that have posted.

With the aluminum bumper support, inner wasn't an option....

I have to say that looks not for me. Now it looks like you did a good job on installing them.

Those are a bit big for my taste and not very subtle.

I just remembered, I forgot to take nighttime pics yesterday....I'm putting
a reminder into my automatic reminder system (my wife).

Like the others said, pretty good job. Very oem-ish. They kinda look like dimples on the Z

I think placing them lower may have been less of an eye sore. Since our bumper have a lot of blank area placing anything like fogs into it just looks out of place, which draws attention to them. just my opinion, your install looks clean though!

I'm looking to get something like this down the road and place them just above the slats in the bumper.

That was my second choice for a location but I would have had eliminate the
Nissan badge or it would be too busy plus I prefer the fogs below the headlights and as far away from each other as possible...like the BMW and GTA I used to have were.

The install looks very professional, but I think you could have chosen some lights that flow with the car's style a little better. That being said nice job on the install.
