Default Installed my Redlinegoods.com Shift boot

I ordered a Black with JDM red stitches. Looks great!

It was for the 03-05 model so I had to slightly modify it to make it work for the 06+ models. 4 holes needed to be enlarged, some were not used.

Here are the pics. Goes well with my Red stock NISMO stitching.

Here is what it looked like before then after:

Both the boot and my parking brake boot (which I haven't put on yet) cost around $65 something shipped.

Looks sweet! I picked up the same set also. I love them!

I tried installing the hand brake boot, but gave up on it and trashed it. It's a pain in the **** to tuck away and had a horrible fit BTW. If you manage to get it to fit, post pics. I'd love to see what it looks like...

I ended up taking the console screws off and raising the console abit, so could stick a hand behind the console and pull on the leather boot. I have tons of custom wiring and crap in there, so I didn't feel like disturbing it too much.

But yeah, I just couldn't get it to tuck flush and clean. The top side tucked(top side of handle), but the sides of the boot wouldn't tuck for crap. When you finally get it tucked fairly decent, it all comes undone and pulls out once you use the brake once or twice. That, and the boot started tearing because I had to use a flathead screwdriver to jam it in there. BTW, the rubber slot that the handbrake moves up and down into is glued onto the console. Don't try and remove it unless you're prepared to glue it back. I pulled a corner off mine and had to glue it back. Clear RTV silicone works great. Make sure and put something weighted on top too, so the rubber peice is flush when the glue heals. That's of course, if you end up pulling the rubber piece off...

Nice. For an added touch you could take red touch up paint and fill in the o in NismO

Nope, not gonna touch the handbrake one for a while till I feel like pulling apart my console. I will probably do it when I replace my deck again soon.

mine was pretty easy. i'll make a video of me pulling it up and down and upload it in a bit for you. If you install it correctly with zipties, there will be no wrinkling of the boot.
