Default Fairlady Z Conversion!!

Installed my Fairlady Z badge. Pictures are a little old but I just wanted to share the process!

Taking off the ugly 350 emblem...

All clear!

Installed!

Final look

The conversion is far from complete. You still gotta make it right hand drive.

I dont see any point of this mod. Also why do u have a fairlady emblem and a 350z license plate? Im pretty sure most people dont know it's the same thing

aw leave the guy alone. The mod bug just hit him! OP continue to mod TASTEFULLY. The emblem isn't bad, it's just not... ummm... proper(?).

Yeah, the 350Z frame is gonna be gone soon for one that just says "Z". It's what I asked for, but that's what you get for giving vague descriptions of what you want for christmas

I change my mind extremely frequently, so the fairlady emblem may change to de-emblemed soon. We shall see.

Fairlady is what they should really be called anyway. For some reason the USDM version has to have a big number in it to make it sound cool? I've never understood that. USDM sucks.

I believe the name change was from fear of feministic association. I guess the name wasn't man enough for the US of A

Haha, didn't work apparently. At least not where I live. There's probably 10 Z's in my area and 7 or 8 of them are driven by middle aged women

I personally would think, "what the ****" if I heard fairlady Z for a car. That's probably the reason why they don't call the Z that in the US.

Going with fairlady Z when its not a Japan model is nothing compared to the twin turbo badge I saw on another Z and it didnt have a turbo! Like having an interfouler!

I myself, see no problem in it. You have to admit its better then a SKYLINE stuck on it. Fairlady is nice, I thought about doing it myself aswell. There are far worse **** people do, this is at the bottom of the worry list.

I came in this thread thinking of a real conversion, not a changing badge thing, lol.

Thanks for documenting the DIY for such a difficult project. I'm sure many on this forum will be pleased. I've never seen anything like it.
