So they cost about 1500 usd but im googling for the best price and im seeing prices anywhere from 315E to 1,000E excluding VAT in the UK. WTF should i just order them from the UK? Anyone know why this is?

I have bought stuff from the UK and it was cheaper took a little while. I would call one of the company's and ask if they would ship to the US and if they do ask how much to ship, because sometimes the price and the item are almost the same.

it is called currency conversion. plus the VAT in the UK is an additional 15% added to the net price. that is why the price "appears" to be cheap but in reality, it is not. then you have to add into that international shipping charges (not cheap) and that 1500 usd price starts to look pretty good.

at current rates, it takes 1.34 usd to buy one euro. so a 1000 E (i take it as euro) price will cost 1,340 usd to purchase

what are the sites that you found those prices at? I live in Germany and I might be able to get them and the VAT is 19% off.

and then you have to get them here Fantastic seats BTW. We ordered our first set of 'special' ones for a good customer, and were blown away by the quality and attention to detail. Easily as nice as any other seat on the market, and quite light as well for a reclining seat (under 30 lbs)

Sube Sports is the master distributor in the US. I seriously doubt Cobra will sale to you directly but I'm sure you could get a speed shop or parts dealer out of the UK to do it.
