Default Headlight Covers (Best Brand? Experince?)

I have some cracks in my front headlights and am looking at headlamp covers. First, does anyone have any experince with the "Headlight Armor", XPEL, or WeatherTech products below? How easy is it to install these products without hosing something up?

Second, would a smoked or tinted cover be legal in Virgina? Most sites have warnings about checking local laws. I'd hate to install these and find that I couldn't remove them and end up replacing my full headlights ($$$)

Thanks

if your headlights are already scratched/cracked, these tinted covers will not fix the problem, just make it worse. (look like tinted/cracked lenses then). best bet would be to replace the whole light or just the cover itself. then if you want to tint them go for it, it's your car.

as for legality, i don't think there is any state where tinted headlights are legal.

Chances are whomever you buy from is getting you lamin-x. They are the best I have worked with.

If your lenses are pitted, yellowed or scratched, fix them first with a lens restoring kit, or some 1000 and 2000 grit sandpaper, some polishing compound, and wax.

If the lenses are cracked get new ones or new headlights, the covers will only prevent damage, not cure it.
