Default pissed off!!!

so i have hid headlights, but one busted, so i bought a pair off headlights off 2kracing.com...(big mistake) and i just finished blacking them out with flat black paint....now im trying to wire them up and finding out its a fawkin nightmare!!! the harness isnt made for hid so im trying to use my old harnesses, but noooooo the bulbs dont fit ....and also, where the hid bulb goes, it doesnt even lock in like the stock Z lights do...and to top it off...where you mount the ballast...its solid!! theres no hole to feed the wire through!! ***!!! im so pissed off right now, anybody in san diego good with wireing? im in need of desperate help!!....sorry i had to rant about this ****....
if i cant get this ish to work right and be wired properly im just gonna sell them

for the future, i will never buy headlamp assemblys off a site, i will strictly get oem lights for now on!!!

that is what happens when you try to go cheap and buy the wrong type of headlights. those are halogen lights, which are not designed for the OEM HID set-up.

Yeah, those are definitely not HID's especially at that price. Never trust a salesman especially from a site like that unless you get something in writing so that it can support your case on a chargeback. You're probably better off finding a used set from the classifieds here since a lot of people prefer not to mess with wiring and all of that.

Even if you could jerry rig the wiring, they will not function correctly. HID bulbs are very different from halogen bulbs, and will not produce light in the same fashion. Your beam pattern will be scattered, and since you're just replacing one... your left will most likely look different from your right.

if the lights have the same design and same lens, i dont see how the lights will be different...i guess i will just have to find out when i get a chance to put it back on the Z...does anyone on this site even use regular headlights instead of HID?

HID bulbs burn at a different Kelvin and therefore will look different from your jerry-rigged halogen bulb. It'd be like someone having a glass eye, they may look almost alike, but it'll never be as good as OEM.
