They do not have the same design and lens. It's like the '03 HID vs '03 standard... they look the same, but my 03 OEM HID's have a different beam pattern than 03 OEM halogen lights.

I'm assuming your headlights are '03 btw... because I've never seen aftermarket '06 clones.

Was the lense just broken on your old lights or the whole thing. I bought the same one's that you did. What i decided to do is take the lenses of my old one's and put the new lense's off of my new one's on to my old one's. That way the hid lights fit correctly along with everything else as you can see they came out perfect. I panted the orange strip to match the car if your wondering what i did plus by old lenses where really cloudy. I hope i could be of some assistance!! Yes, it was a pain in the *** puting 4 lights in the oven but it was worth it.

My friend wired eBay blacked out 03-05 NON HID headlights with an aftermarket HID kit and mated it with the factory HID wiring. Hes NickZ33 on the forum if you wanna PM him how he did it.

I think thats what your trying to do.. If its not my bad for ranting.

Hey! If you need someone that's great at wiring call Manny at Medici Autosport. He's in San Diego. Shop number is 619-921-1497. He does HID custom wiring all day long. Tell him Hawaiian BBQ sent you. Good luck!

Volk quit trying to cut corners man! I know times is hard and the whole thing with the dual mortgages, but man you're screwing yourself even more. Thank goodness you didn't follow thru with the rattle can issue. Close the DIY tab, take a breath and try again.

I did exactly what Marques1 did, My lens was messed up so I just bought a cheap set for $150... Quality of everything was def. not great but the lenses were fine so I just took off the lens on the cheap set and replaced them on my OEM ones. Plus I had already blacked out my headlights before I did it so I didn't want to have to redo it.
