Default Help with my options :)

Alright here is the deal,

My Z was purchased with a small crack in the front chin (under grill) from previous owner and now that spring has arrived I am looking to get it fixed.

I am wondering what the community thinks would be best for cost sake. Should I have it repainted professionally? Aftermarket lip that covers the lower chin (must look good, fit well and is cheap, all relatively speaking)? Or, should I just look around for a Chrome Silver bumper for sale to replace the whole thing (there are certainly chips in mine anyways.)

I will post pictures later tonight so you can all see the damage and assess the situation. Thanks!

Adam

You could get the carbon fiber lip cover but, IMO, that would just get chipped also.

I would take it to a couple of local body shops and see what they say about repair. If crack is deep enough, they may say it can't be repaired.

If it cant be repaired, consider an after-market front end or find a used one.

Thing about painting is that most shops, I think, would tell you the hood and both fenders would need prep and paint so as to blend.
