Default antenna removal

i'm thinking to remove the radio antenna of the fender for a cleaner look
what can i use instead of it?
i want to install a 7" or so DVD/NAVI so what you guys recommend?

removing it all together or just get a smaller cleaner looking one?

I'm in the middle of some work on my car and have already done that. I just have the antenna laying inside the quarter panel right now, but am about to pick up one of those keyless entry antennas and put it at the top of the rear hatch window.

I put my sirius satellite radio antenna, along with the Nav antenna, under the plastic end caps that cover the rear strut brace.

My longer term plan is to have a local body shop fill in the hole after I remove the antenna, which isnt even hooked up to my HU.
