Question 2 birds with 1 stone

I am searching through this forum and some others trying to find
threads that show how to take certain 350Z panels off to gain
access for wiring an alarm.

I need to get into the drivers door, drivers mirror, center console
for the ignition wires and pass door. Also, are there any factory
made holes not used in the engine bay firewall?

I am installing the Viper 5901 this weekend but want to get some
steps out of the way before.

Thanks in advance.

Search for center console removal. Someone posted a thread that has links to posts for removing various interior pieces like the door panels, center console, etc.

Check the floor boards / firewall under the carpeting for unused plugs.

ssgohan434:

If I thought there was a shop within 50 miles that would solder all connection, use
shrink fit tubing instead of tape and/or butt connectors and wrap all wires in that
OEM looking plastic securing them to the car (like OEM) without charging me 3x what
the alarm actually cost me, I'd do it. I have installed 2 Viper 791XV alarms so it
should be easier with the 5901 considering it has D2D.

Good suggestions...thanks.
