Default Changing the Steering Wheel?

Hey guys, I tried researching this and asked a bunch of local people and shops in my local area but I can't seem to find a straight answer.

I've got a Base Z without cruise control and I wanted to change the steering wheel to one WITH cruise control. Airbag stuff aside...is this possible? Some people were telling me the hookups are there minus the cruise control steering wheel. Are all the Z's progammed with this feature stock?

Has anyone tried this?

No help here. However I am interested in the same question only the volume controls on steering wheel. (If I remember correctly though you are SOL as the base is not a simply plug and play) Not sure though sperts chime in please.

adding a steering wheel with cruise controls will not give you cruise control. base models do not have this nor is it possible to add cruise to a base model Z. but the wheel will still hook up, just your buttons will be useless.

good to know.

I'm not actually looking for the cruise functions....using the buttons to change my Osiris maps. I would assume if Osiris integrates their map controls to the cruise control then this is a "no-go". bummer....
