Many folks I talk to are either neutral in regard to the FairladyZ emblem or do not like it. Obviously I feel contrary to that. But for sure, the tails are nice. So clean. And i've never seen them in person on another Z.

i love the fairladyz emblem. the jdm lights are real hard to pull off...i think they look nice on black , or blue... but its real hard to have them not come off as looking kinda "ricey"
I like your set up though! keep us posted with more pics eye candy for the masses

None taken. Although your comment would probably end up coming from just some onlooker, no one that knows Z's, no one who I care about. As many of the folks on this board share the perspective of, it is all in the details. And any Z guy that observes closely enough to recognize the badge will know what it refers to. I post on this forum taking the positive and the negative, and all comments are simply noted. I wanna hear whatever anyone has to say, otherwise I wouldn't post up a debatable subject/image.

I don't know.
Fairlady got the name from the play My Fair Lady. Kawamata thought it would make people think of beauty. It's kind of a sweet sentiment given the way people usually just name a car a series of letters and numbers based on car stats like...oh, I don't know...350Z.
So if you think your car is like a pretty lady, so ahead and keep the badge.

I think thats why not too many of us like it on a US spec car. Not trying to be rude, of course!
You did seal the deal on the JDM tails for me though! I have an SS & I'm gonna debadge the rear, put the Tommy Kaira "Z" emblem & JDM tails on. I was gonna go OEM red style but these will compliment my whole set-up much more!

Surprised to hear all the "anti-Fairlady" comments. Although I see how many macho men can be offended by having the word "lady" in the name of the car, its part of the cars heritage and if you're fine with the general public not getting it, more power to ya.
It's like Firebird guys being offended by having a chicken on their car or Mustang owners being upset by "pony." Even GTO owners are comfortable with their cars being nicknamed after a farm animal.

i don't like how the fairlady badge sits so far away towards the center. i prefer the badge sitting closer to the taillight
this is how i did it to mine... just a bit closer to the left, i think it looks better and it doesn't look misplaced
